Homemade Lingerie

Some of the best things in life are free. Also, some of the best lingerie are pieces that you have made yourself. If you are fashion design proficient, this isn't going to be able sewing up your own lingerie, but rather some fun things to do with items around the house. We'll get the tried and true over with.

 Whipped cream is a very fun way to make some lingerie. A dab here, a dab there, and viola! The whipped cream bikini! It's more fun to take off than to put on though.

Silk handkerchiefs are another good makeshift lingerie piece. Not only can you be tied down rather deliciously with them, you can also tie a few up into a makeshift bandeau and thong.

Going back to the kitchen, there is so much you can do with food. While messy, clean up is always fun. One of my favorites? M&Ms.

They melt rather quickly, but stick to the body pretty good, so you can just have lines of them all over you to be cleaned up.

It's rather fun. Ice cream works well too, as long as you are working around somewhere that you can clean the surrounding area as well. Homemade Lingerie!

Feather boas and feathers from a feather duster can be fun as well, although you can only hold them against yourself to tease.

One word of caution - while some bikinis might look as thin as dental floss, I wouldn't recommend actually trying to use floss in one of these makeshift lingerie pieces!

Yarn and string are fun, although you might just get all tangled up (with your lover to rescue you or ensnare you farther..). If you are more on the geeky side, spare cables from the computer, or even CDs and floppy disks can be strategically positioned and held in place.

Soda caps fit over many size nipples, while a few tied napkins can secure a thong for you.

The main idea is just to expand your mind, and look around your surroundings creatively. You can use a ton of everyday items in lingerie, and it's not like it has to stay on for very long. The spontaneity of this will help if you're hitting a tough spot in your relationship, and you'll have a ton of fun to boot!
